Profreight is elevating its comprehensive logistics services with the opening of a new general warehouse adjacent to the Lat Krabang Inland Container Depot (ICD) station. The facility enhances the company’s multimodal transport capabilities across all modes of transportation and is designed to serve customers from a wide range of industries.
As one of Thailand’s leading freight forwarders, Profreight continues to build on its 37 years of experience through consistent investment and expansion. Alongside its existing facilities in Chonburi province, the company has now established a new warehouse in the Lat Krabang area as part of its growing warehousing portfolio. This development reflects Profreight’s long-term commitment to providing logistics solutions that evolve with the market.
In this issue of Logistics Manager, we spoke with Profreight executives Mr. Chanon Asavasangsidhi and Mr. Vorachit Ratanachinda about the company’s warehousing strategy, the flexibility of the new facility, and how the expansion supports customers in a rapidly changing logistics environment.

Strategic Location, Integrated Solution
The new warehouse is strategically located just eight kilometres from Suvarnabhumi International Airport and offers excellent connectivity to Bangkok Port, the expressway network, the rail route to Laem Chabang Port, and the Lat Krabang ICD station. Customers benefit from access to air, sea, road, and rail transport options within a single, integrated location.

The facility also connects directly to the TIFFA Logistics Centre through an adjoining gate, streamlining cargo movement after customs clearance and container release. This arrangement allows goods to be quickly transferred to the storage area for temporary holding or preparation for further distribution. The improved connectivity is expected to deliver significant time and cost savings for customers.
“The Lat Krabang area serves as a logistics hub that comprehensively connects all transport modes,” said Mr. Vorachit. “The new warehouse demonstrates our dedication to providing end-to-end logistics solutions that support every industry in one location.”
With these advantages, the new facility strengthens Profreight’s multimodal operations and offers a convenient option for importers, exporters, and freight forwarders seeking efficient, reliable, and comprehensive logistics services for both domestic and cross-border distribution.
Comprehensive and Flexible Infrastructure
Recognising the need for flexibility in today’s global market, Profreight designed the new warehouse with adaptable infrastructure to meet diverse customer requirements while maintaining high standards of cargo safety and quality.

The facility spans more than 10,000 square metres, comprising two buildings measuring 8,000 and 2,500 square metres respectively. The layout is designed to accommodate various cargo types, supported by selective racking systems, modern material-handling equipment, and on-ground storage for oversized goods. A world-class Warehouse Management System (WMS) ensures efficient and transparent operations.
Profreight has also applied its extensive industry experience to integrate value-added services tailored to specific customer needs. These include specialised handling procedures and customised logistics solutions that enhance supply chain agility. The result is a one-stop service that strengthens clients’ operational efficiency.
“With excellent capacity, a robust warehouse management system, skilled personnel, and comprehensive facilities, this warehouse can fully meet customer expectations,” said Mr. Chanon. “It also provides flexible infrastructure for future development, enabling us to support an even broader range of cargo and service needs.”

Technology and Security

Profreight places strong emphasis on safety and operational transparency. The warehouse is equipped with a full CCTV network that can be monitored in real time through a mobile application, supported by 24-hour on-site security personnel. These measures ensure that every cargo movement is recorded and managed with precision.

Sustainability also plays a central role in Profreight’s operational strategy. The company plans to install solar panels to power the warehouse, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and energy costs. Staff are being trained to strengthen their expertise and drive improvements in operational efficiency, reflecting Profreight’s commitment to long-term industry development.
“Green logistics is a principle we highly prioritise,” said Mr. Vorachit. “We intend to restructure the warehouse to incorporate more sustainable practices, including solar power generation and EV charging stations, providing efficient alternatives while contributing to a greener future for the Thai logistics industry.”
Looking Forward
The opening of the Lat Krabang warehouse marks an important milestone for Profreight. It reinforces the company’s position as a trusted logistics partner and its commitment to supporting customer growth through reliable, integrated, and sustainable solutions.
“With this facility, we are beginning the first phase of our warehousing business expansion,” said Mr. Chanon. “We plan to continue broadening our services because warehousing is a critical component of logistics activities that enables our customers’ business growth.”
Mr. Vorachit added, “With Profreight’s extensive knowledge, experience, and expertise in logistics, this new warehouse will meet the needs of customers requiring efficient storage and distribution across all transport modes.”
