To demonstrate its commitment to education and support for employees’ children, TIPS Co., Ltd. (TIPS) awarded its 2025 education fund during a ceremony at the Pailin Room, led by Captain Chatchawan Ghettalae, President of TIPS. This initiative reflects TIPS’s strong belief in the value of education and its role in shaping future generations.
As part of its internal “Running Activity” campaign, THB 171,000 was raised and officially presented by Ms. Mallika Thepthong, Container Yard and Operations Manager and head of the Running Activities Club, to Ms. Charunee Luandee, Manager of the Administration and Human Resource Division. To further support the cause, the company contributed an additional THB 150,000, bringing the total education fund to THB 321,000.
The campaign involved 112 executives and employees, who collectively ran 26,036.27 kilometers over 85 days, from May 6 to July 31, 2024. A total of 50 donors attended the event to show their support.
This fund benefits 57 children of certified TIPS employees and is distributed across four categories:
1. Best Development Education Fund – 3 funds
- Primary Education / Lower Secondary Education: 2 funds at THB 7,100 each
- Upper Secondary / Vocational Education or Higher / High Vocational Education: 1 fund at THB 8,000
2. Best Study Education Fund – 11 funds
- Primary Education: 8 funds at THB 6,200 each
- Lower Secondary Education: 1 fund at THB 6,500
- Upper Secondary / Vocational Education: 7,300 THB (no recipient)
- Higher / High Vocational Education: 2 funds at THB 7,500 each
3. General Education Fund – 43 funds
- Primary Education: 16 funds at THB 4,600 each
- Lower Secondary Education: 11 funds at THB 5,100 each
- Upper Secondary / Vocational Education: 4 funds at THB 5,900 each
- Higher / High Vocational Education: 12 funds at THB 6,200 each
