TIPS Co., Ltd. (TIPS), the operator of Container Terminal B4 at Laem Chabang Port, recently conducted a Safe Out-of-Gauge (OOG) Cargo Handling Training for its subcontractors. The session aimed to raise awareness of safety procedures and reinforce the best practices in handling oversized cargo.

OOG cargo refers to items that exceed standard container dimensions in length, width, height, or weight. These typically include large machinery, construction equipment, infrastructure components, and specialized vehicles.

The training was led by Mr. Nattapol Boonyasena, Assistant Operation Division Manager. It focused on equipping participants with the knowledge, techniques, and awareness needed to manage OOG cargo safely. Emphasis was placed on understanding the risks involved and adopting proper handling approaches.

This initiative is part of TIPS’s ongoing efforts to cultivate a safety-first workplace culture and to integrate safe working behaviors into the company’s long-term sustainability goals.
