CMA CGM Platinum Christened Mokpo South Korea

CMA CGM has marked the christening of the CMA CGM Platinum during a ceremony held in Mokpo, South Korea. With a nominal capacity of 13,000 TEU, the vessel is now deployed on the BEX2 service, connecting Asia with ports across the Mediterranean.

Following its christening, the CMA CGM Platinum is currently en route to China and will subsequently call at Singapore, the world’s largest transshipment hub, to load cargo bound for Mediterranean destinations.

The ceremony was further highlighted by an address from Ms Mi-Young Nam, whose presence and remarks were well received by attendees. The CMA CGM Group also extended its well wishes to Captain Li Quauxin and the crew as the vessel begins its operational journey.
