In Thailand’s highly competitive logistics sector, success depends on three non-negotiables: speed, accuracy, and cost efficiency. These pillars determine not only the reliability of providers but also their long-term sustainability in a market where margins are tight and customer expectations are rising.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), however, often face unique challenges in keeping up. Many still rely on fragmented software solutions that are not designed for logistics. Running multiple programs side by side results in duplication, disconnected data, and unnecessary costs that weaken competitiveness.

AMS Logistics has set out to change this reality. The company has developed ‘The AI Logistics’, a comprehensive software platform created by logistics experts for logistics professionals. Designed to simplify every stage of the supply chain, the system is user-friendly, end-to-end, and, crucially, affordable for SMEs

While multinational players can invest in advanced systems, many Thai logistics companies remain dependent on tools that fall short of their real needs. Imported solutions often come at a high price and lack alignment with Thailand’s operational context, from customs regulations to tax documentation.

Mr. Sorot Chartngarm, Managing Director of AMS Logistics

Drawing on his industry expertise, Mr. Sorot Chartngarm, Managing Director of AMS Logistics, began developing ‘The AI Logistics’ to bring every operation into a single platform.

“We want to create software that is truly for logistics people, by logistics people,” said Mr. Sorot. “Every module is designed from practical expertise and a deep understanding of the logistics business.”

At the core of the solution is the promise of “one system covers all tasks.” Its key modules include:

  • AI Asset – Manages assets, tracks holdings, and calculates depreciation.
  • AI Management – Provides a real-time executive dashboard for fast decision-making.
  • AI Human Resource – Handles HR processes, including user permissions, tax, and social security data.
  • AI Sale – Oversees sales, logs activities, issues invoices, and shares data across divisions.
  • AI Procure – Manages purchasing, prevents overpayments, and tracks supplier history.
  • AI Logistics – The central module for shipping and transportation, integrated with the accounting system.
  • AI Account – A logistics-specific accounting tool that supports financial statements and tax compliance.

The system also includes value-adding features such as an HS Code Check, a database of harmonized system codes verified with the Customs Department, and a Logistics Library to retain operational knowledge within the company.

What distinguishes ‘The AI Logistics’ is its seamless connectivity. All modules are linked internally, while the platform also connects with external services via APIs. For example, integration with the Revenue Department’s API allows automatic population of company names and addresses into accounting documents, eliminating manual input.

The system also employs AI technology to extract data directly from shipping line bills of lading (B/L), reducing errors and saving valuable time.

As a browser-based solution, ‘The AI Logistics’ requires no installation. It is fully responsive across devices and displays data in customizable dashboards with charts and graphs, helping users quickly interpret profit, sales, and operational performance.

Instead of imposing a flat subscription fee, AMS Logistics charges based on shipment volume. This model makes advanced technology more accessible to SMEs, allowing them to scale usage without heavy upfront investment.

“We’re committed to developing a modern, fast, and reliable logistics community with technology that is accessible to everyone,” said Mr. Sorot.

For AMS Logistics, ‘The AI Logistics’ represents more than a product launch. It is part of a larger vision to lift the standards of Thai logistics and enable providers to compete internationally.

By helping businesses cut costs, improve accuracy, and accelerate processes, ‘The AI Logistics’ is not just a management platform. It is a future-ready foundation for Thailand’s logistics industry.

“With this practical technology, we aim to drive Thai logistics to the next level while growing sustainably alongside local providers,” Mr. Sorot emphasized.
