ZIM Thailand Marks New Chapter with Office Opening and Gala Celebration

ZIM Integrated Shipping Services has marked an important milestone in Thailand with the official opening of its new Bangkok office and a memorable customer gala that brought together global leaders, partners, and staff.

The inauguration of the A+ grade office at APAC Tower, Ekkamai, was attended by ZIM President & CEO Mr. Eli Glickman, senior executives from Hong Kong and Haifa, and the company’s local leadership team. The modern workspace has been designed to reflect ZIM’s culture of collaboration and unity, providing an environment that supports growth and innovation while strengthening ties with the local market.

“This inspiring new location underscores our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional service in Thailand,” said Mr. Dave Ames, Managing Director, ZIM Thailand. “The celebration was a vibrant gathering filled with meaningful conversations, laughter, and the presence of our valued customers, vendors, and partners.”

The festivities extended beyond the office launch with a high-profile Customer Gala, held in Bangkok on the evening of September 1st. The event welcomed regional country managers from across Asia and Africa alongside key business partners. Guests were treated to an immersive experience that blended fine dining and entertainment, from a Michelin-starred menu curated by Chef Bo Songvisava to performances by R&B artist Lydia. Champagne served by aerial performers and live music from Elliott Imlay & The Tandem added further flair to the evening.

Mr. Ames described the gala as a benchmark in customer engagement: “Our aim was to create a unique experience that celebrated our partnerships and showcased ZIM’s creativity and innovation. We believe this event reflected not only our appreciation for our customers but also our vision for continued excellence.”
