X-Press Feeders COSCO SHIPPING Lines

The X-Press Feeders Group and COSCO SHIPPING Lines have signed two new agreements to enhance feeder connectivity and strengthen coordination between their services. The partnership aims to expand network coverage and improve service reliability across key trade regions. The agreements were signed on June 18, 2025, by Francis Goh, Chief Operating Officer of X-Press Feeders, and Irene Cheng Jin, Deputy Managing Director of COSCO SHIPPING Lines.

Partnership and Leasing Agreements

The first agreement establishes a partnership that will have both companies explore opportunities to cooperate on feeder services in regions including Asia, the Middle East, the Mediterranean, North Europe, and Latin America. The second, a leasing agreement, gives COSCO SHIPPING Lines the first option to charter newbuild vessels from X-Press Feeders Group. These new vessels may be deployed to support joint services.

Advancing Decarbonization and Supply Chain Resilience

This collaboration comes as the shipping industry faces increased pressure to meet decarbonization targets and respond to the growing demand for sustainable supply chain solutions. According to Francis Goh, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to building a more connected and sustainable shipping network. By aligning their capabilities and vision, the companies aim to deliver more efficient, customer-centric solutions while jointly advancing the transition to low-emission shipping.
