CMA CGM Indonesia has announced the launch of the Batam Singapore Xpress (BSX), a new shuttle service designed to link Batam directly to Singapore and integrate seamlessly with all CMA CGM Group services. This initiative, which began with the first sailing departing Batam on August 27, 2025, significantly enhances the island’s global connectivity.

Enhanced Connectivity and Service Features

The BSX shuttle service offers two departures per week between the port of Batam and Singapore, providing customers with greater flexibility and access to major markets worldwide via the global hub in Singapore. The rotation for the service is straightforward: Batam – Singapore.

In addition to the frequent departures, the BSX service is designed to offer a one-stop-shop experience, covering documentation, customs procedures, and intermodal solutions to ensure a hassle-free shipping process for customers. This streamlined service is further supported by a dedicated local team in Batam, ready to provide specialized expertise and support.

New Local Presence in Batam

To bolster this commitment and better support customer requirements, CMA CGM is also proud to announce the opening of its new office in Batam. The local team of shipping and logistics experts is now positioned to provide fast and personalized service, reinforcing CMA CGM’s commitment to the regional market.
