CEVA Logistics Acquisition Borusan Lojistik Boost Growth Turkey

$383 Million Purchase of Leading Domestic Firm Positions CEVA as Top 3PL in Strategic Market

CEVA Logistics, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, has completed the acquisition of 100 percent of Borusan Tedarik Zinciri Çözümleri ve Teknoloji Şirketi, the legal entity behind the leading domestic logistics firm Borusan Lojistik. The share transfer agreement for the $383 million (USD) purchase was closed following the receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.

The original purchase agreement was announced on 26 April 2025. Privately held Borusan Holding sold 69.47 percent of Borusan Tedarik’s shares, with the remaining 30.53 percent held by publicly traded Borusan Yatırım. The logistics activities from Borusan Lojistik, along with its foreign subsidiaries and the eTA and Bukoli subsidiaries in Turkey, are now controlled by CEVA. The Borusan Port activities previously under the Borusan Lojistik brand will remain with Borusan Holding.

Expanding Scale and Expertise in a Dynamic Market

With the acquisition closed, CEVA will now begin the integration and rebranding process to strengthen its position as a top Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider in Turkey’s domestic market.

The integration significantly expands CEVA’s scale across several key sectors:

  • Contract Logistics: CEVA now manages approximately 1,190,000 square meters of warehouse space in Turkey.
  • Ground Transport: The combined entity accounts for nearly 1 million domestic FTL (Full Truckload) transports per year. Borusan Lojistik’s LTL (Less-than-Truckload) activities will further strengthen CEVA’s existing network, including vital connections to Europe.
  • Specialized Logistics: CEVA will also secure a leading position in finished vehicle logistics, as well as air and ocean transport, thanks to the Borusan Lojistik operations.

Mathieu Friedberg, CEO of CEVA Logistics, highlighted Turkey’s strategic importance, noting that its dynamic economy and location along the India, Middle East, Europe Corridor open a wide array of opportunities for the new, combined size and breadth of CEVA’s solutions. With the integration, Turkey now represents CEVA’s third-largest country by gross revenue.
