Strategic Partnership Aims to Transform BJC Big C Group’s Supply Chain and Target High-Growth Sectors Like Healthcare

Berli Jucker Logistics (“BJL”), a division of the BJC Big C Group, has entered into a landmark Joint Venture agreement with DHL Supply Chain (Thailand). This strategic alliance is designed to transform the logistics operations of the BJC Big C Group to align with global standards and unlock growth opportunities in new high-potential markets, particularly the demanding healthcare sector.

The partnership, formalized at a signing ceremony at Big C House on 7 November 2025, will establish a new logistics and supply chain platform. This platform will serve not only the BJC Big C Group but also existing and new third-party customers across diverse industries, including packaging and consumer goods. Through this collaboration, BJL is set to strengthen and transform into an international-standard logistics provider, instilling confidence among a broader customer base.

Leveraging Global Expertise for Local Growth

For DHL Supply Chain, the joint venture provides strategic access to Thailand’s fast-growing and dynamic economy, unlocking new market potential in one of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant economic regions. DHL will integrate its global best practices in contract logistics, digital capabilities, and operational excellence into the partnership, aiming to elevate service standards and drive innovation across entire supply chains in Thailand.

Mrs. Thapanee Techajareonvikul, CEO and President of Berli Jucker Public Company Limited (BJC), stated that the collaboration reflects the BJC Big C Group’s vision to build a robust and fully integrated supply chain. She emphasized that the goal is to elevate Thailand’s logistics standards to be on par with global benchmarks while expanding opportunities into promising new markets, especially healthcare.

Mr. Javier Bilbao, CEO of DHL Supply Chain Asia Pacific, noted that the joint venture is a strategic step in shaping the future of logistics in Thailand. He highlighted the “perfect match” created by combining BJC Big C Group’s strong local presence with DHL Supply Chain’s innovation and global network, strengthening their ability to deliver smarter, more resilient supply chains to meet evolving customer needs.

A Game Changer for Thailand’s Logistics Industry

Mr. Steve Walker, CEO of DHL Supply Chain Thailand Cluster, affirmed that the joint venture is a natural next step in the partnership, which has spanned more than two decades. By combining their strengths, the venture will not only continue to serve the BJC Big C Group but also extend world-class logistics solutions to new customers, building a logistics platform that is efficient, resilient, and sustainable.

With the combined strengths of both organizations, the BJC–DHL joint venture is poised to become a true “Game Changer”, driving Thailand’s logistics industry to the next level and supporting both consumer needs and regional economic growth in the years ahead.
