CEVA Logistics and BYD Group have signed a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand their global automotive logistics partnership, while BYD has also recognised CEVA with its Best Carrier of the Year 2026 award.
The agreement strengthens cooperation across BYD’s international operations as the electric vehicle manufacturer continues to expand its global manufacturing footprint.
Supporting Global Automotive Growth
The new three-year agreement builds on the companies’ existing relationship and will see CEVA provide end-to-end automotive logistics services supporting BYD’s operations across six continents.
The partnership covers route planning, capacity management, warehousing, distribution, customs coordination, localised operations, end-to-end delivery management and the development of lower-carbon logistics solutions.
According to the companies, the expanded cooperation aligns BYD’s presence in more than 100 countries with CEVA’s global logistics network and local operational expertise.
Broadening Supply Chain Support
As BYD shifts from exporting finished vehicles towards establishing a broader international manufacturing network, CEVA will expand its support across multiple areas of the supply chain.
This includes finished vehicle logistics, inbound manufacturing logistics, overseas distribution, after-sales support and plant supply continuity. The partnership also supports BYD’s efforts to strengthen local supply chains for automotive, battery, energy storage and automotive electronics operations.
Recognition for Operational Performance
During the signing ceremony in Marseille, BYD presented CEVA with its Best Carrier of the Year 2026 award in recognition of the logistics provider’s operational performance, service reliability and flexibility in supporting the manufacturer’s global logistics operations.
The companies said the expanded partnership reflects their shared commitment to building more resilient, sustainable and locally responsive supply chains as BYD continues its international expansion.
