OOCL has successfully launched its new China Laem Chabang Service (CHL2) on January 10, 2025. This initiative aims to strengthen connectivity between China and Thailand, addressing the growing trade demands in these markets.

The introduction of CHL2 optimizes OOCL’s existing network coverage, particularly between East China, South China, and Thailand. It offers competitive transit times and improved service reliability and complements the current suite of CHL services already in operation.

The CHL2 service features a strategic port rotation that includes Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Nansha, Laem Chabang, Shekou, and back to Shanghai. With its recent first sailing from Shanghai, the service significantly enhances transport options for businesses operating between these regions.
