Wan Hai Asia Fruit Logistica

The Asia Fruit Logistica, held from September 6 to September 8 at Hong Kong’s Asia World Expo, offers opportunities for fresh product sectors and related cold chain logistics to make business contacts on-site annually for the entire Asian region.

Wan Hai has participated in this event for the sixth time with an eye on the growing demand for fresh and refrigerated products transportation. Wan Hai indicated that with regional economic growth driven by robust domestic demand, the emerging middle class began focusing on better food quality and safety. Moreover, the rapid growth speed of the fresh online business has also given rise to overall cold chain logistics and a greater market potential. As a result, an additional 5,100 units joined Wan Hai’s reefer within two years, and a portion of it can provide Active CA (Controlled Atmosphere) technology to serve highly perishable fresh shipments.

The service features of Wan Hai’s reefer carriage include a comprehensive network. Wan Hai currently operates one of the most intensive networks in Asia, offering 67 regular services and serving as many as 33 countries with 104 front offices worldwide. Driven by the global economy’s steady growth, Wan Hai is committed to expanding more comprehensive service coverage to satisfy better customers’ seasonal needs for fruits, vegetables, frozen meat and seafood transportation. Its young reefer fleet has an average reefer container age of less than five years to ensure consignments delivered by shippers are well-kept. In addition, its reefer experts and technicians are also keeping close tabs on each stage throughout the carriage.

Furthermore, adhering to international safety and environmental standards, its reefer containers comply with various international certifications.
