Ocean container carrier Wan Hai Lines participated in Expoalimentaria 2026, Latin America’s major food and produce trade exhibition held from September 23 to 25 at the Jockey Exhibition Center in Lima, Peru.
Marking its second consecutive year at the event, the carrier highlighted its specialized reefer shipping solutions and Far East–West Coast South America liner network to support growing agricultural and seafood trade.
Reefer Capability and Network Coverage
The carrier emphasized its cold chain infrastructure designed for perishable export management:
- Thermal Control Range: Utilizes reefer container fleets equipped with automated climate control systems capable of maintaining internal temperatures between -40°C and +25°C.
- Perishable Cargo Applications: Supports temperature-sensitive agricultural and seafood exports, including fresh fruits, frozen meats, and high-value perishables.
- Trade Lane Coverage: Highlights established liner routes connecting Asia-Pacific import markets directly with key ports across the West Coast of South America.
- Monitoring Systems: Integrates continuous environmental monitoring to track airflow, humidity, and temperature stability throughout maritime transit.
Strategic Market Focus
Wan Hai’s participation aligns with its broader commercial strategy to expand cold chain services across South American trade corridors, providing specialized logistics consultation for agricultural exporters and international food distributors.
