TS Lines Xiamen–Japan Trade Enhanced Kanto Region Connectivity

TS Lines has officially expanded its intra-Asia footprint by increasing service frequency between Xiamen and the vital Kanto region of Japan. Effective April 5, 2026, the carrier introduced the JCV service to its rotation, providing direct and more frequent links to the major ports of Tokyo and Yokohama.

This strategic update is designed to offer shippers greater routing flexibility and more reliable transit options within the competitive China–Japan trade corridor.

Targeted Growth in the Kanto Region

The addition of the JCV service specifically targets the industrial and consumer hubs of Eastern Japan. By streamlining the connection from Xiamen, TS Lines is addressing the growing demand for rapid replenishment and just-in-time logistics.

The updated JCV service rotation now follows a direct path from Xiamen to Tokyo and then Yokohama.

A Comprehensive Xiamen–Japan Network

With the integration of the JCV service, TS Lines now offers one of the most diverse regional portfolios for cargo originating in Xiamen, covering all three of Japan’s primary economic gateways. Shippers can now access the Kanto region via the JTS and JCV services, the Kansai region (including Osaka and Kobe) via the JHTN service, and the Kyushu region (including Moji and Hakata) via the PAS service.

Key Network Highlights

The enhanced network structure provides several immediate advantages for exporters and logistics providers:

  • Increased Frequency: More weekly departures to Tokyo and Yokohama reduce wait times at the terminal.
  • Diversified Routing: Multiple service loops allow shippers to choose the best arrival window for their specific supply chain needs.
  • Strategic Reach: Full coverage across the Kanto, Kansai, and Kyushu regions ensures that all major Japanese markets are accessible via a single carrier network.

This expansion reaffirms TS Lines’ commitment to strengthening its intra-Asia services, providing the maritime connectivity essential for the seamless movement of goods across the region.
