SITC, a leading global logistics provider, announced the successful maiden voyage of its new Weifang-Japan direct route on February 28, 2024. The new route aims to provide direct and convenient services from Weifang to Japan for customers in the hinterland around Weifang.

Weifang Port, located on the south coast of Laizhou Bay in the Bohai Sea, has a superior location, and the opening of SITC’s new route is expected to improve the company’s service network in the Shandong Peninsula region.

As a self-operated route, the new service boasts the advantages of a stable shipping schedule, guaranteed shipping space, guaranteed containers, and complete container types. The new route aims to provide customers with a more efficient, convenient, and economical logistics service channel that saves land transportation costs.

The successful maiden voyage of the new route is a significant milestone for SITC, which is committed to providing customers with green and low-carbon supply chain services. The new route fully implements the company’s sustainable development philosophy and is expected to facilitate economic growth and strengthen trade ties between Weifang and Japan.
