Maersk Saudi Arabia and Saudi Post Company (SPL) have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to form a new partnership aimed at enhancing logistics and supply chain services for global eCommerce businesses. The alliance is designed to support companies operating in Saudi Arabia and the broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

The collaboration combines Maersk’s global logistics expertise with Saudi Post’s extensive domestic network to create a comprehensive end-to-end solution for the market.

An Integrated Solution for Cross-Border Trade

Under the partnership, Saudi Post will manage all in-Kingdom operations, including express customs clearance and final-mile delivery. Concurrently, Maersk will oversee origin activities, international transportation, and bonded fulfillment solutions. A key operational hub for this collaboration will be Maersk’s recently inaugurated Integrated Logistics Park in Jeddah.

The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation across four critical areas: technology and system integration, joint marketing, coordinated customer service, and operational optimization to enhance capacity and streamline processes for shared customers.

Supporting Vision 2030

This strategic partnership contributes directly to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by strengthening the Kingdom’s logistics infrastructure and facilitating international trade. The alliance is expected to attract more global businesses to establish operations in Saudi Arabia, providing them with a reliable and efficient logistics network and reinforcing the country’s position as a regional logistics gateway.
