Sino Logistics Corporation (SINO) is scaling up its operations at Laem Chabang Industrial Estate with the addition of 6,000 square metres of free zone warehouse space, bringing the total footprint to 33,000 square metres. The expanded facility, located in Chonburi Province, is slated to become operational by October 2025.
The project, approved by SINO’s Board of Directors and led by CEO Mr. Nanmanus Witthayasakpant, is designed to meet rising demand for free zone warehousing, particularly among exporters and importers seeking tax and customs advantages. Of the total site, 23,000 square metres will now be dedicated to free zone storage, complementing the 10,000 square metres of general warehousing already in place.
With construction on track for completion in Q4, the company expects the new capacity to begin generating revenue in the final quarter of 2025. Logistics services currently account for around 5% of SINO’s total revenue, and the expanded footprint is expected to boost this share through new customer acquisitions and broader service capabilities.
SINO has already secured pre-commitments from automotive sector clients for approximately 40% of the new space. Discussions are ongoing with eight additional prospects, and full occupancy is anticipated by 2026.
“This new expansion will strengthen SINO as an end-to-end global cargo service provider,” said Mr. Nanmanus. “It enhances our capacity to meet growing demand for logistics services and storage solutions. Strong growth is expected as global customers increasingly look to expand their manufacturing base in Thailand for risk management purposes.”
The move underscores SINO’s strategy to capitalise on Thailand’s growing appeal as a regional logistics hub, supported by its proximity to deep-sea ports and competitive free zone regulations.
