Rhenus Group Philippines Footprint New Strategic Warehouse Parañaque

Leading global logistics provider Rhenus Group has officially opened a state-of-the-art warehouse in Parañaque, Metro Manila. This 7,320 sqm facility is a core component of the company’s strategic plan to significantly expand its warehousing capacity and service offerings across the Philippines, a market estimated at USD 16.20 billion in 2026.

The new addition strengthens Rhenus’ existing network of seven facilities across Manila, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao, providing a more robust gateway for nationwide distribution and global supply chain integration.

Strategic Location and High-Spec Infrastructure

The warehouse is positioned for maximum efficiency within the National Capital Region (NCR), offering direct access to major transport routes via the SLEX Sucat interchange.

Facility Technical Highlights:

  • Scale and Height: A multi-user facility featuring an impressive 20m ceiling height and full thermal insulation.
  • Security Standards: A fully enclosed gated compound with 24/7 security, optical beam smoke detectors, and a comprehensive CCTV system with 60-day video retention.
  • Operational Integrity: Designed with a mechanical cross-ventilation system and high-grade structural integrity to protect sensitive cargo from the local climate.

A Focus on Sustainability and Compliance

In line with global environmental goals, the Parañaque facility incorporates several “green” features to reduce its carbon footprint. The warehouse utilizes high-efficiency LED lighting and a skylight system to harness natural light, alongside ready provisions for solar panel installation.

The site is currently in the final stages of obtaining ISO certifications for Quality Management (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S). These certifications ensure that Rhenus continues to meet the highest international standards for safety and compliance.

Strengthening the APAC Logistics Network

Marcus Fornell, Regional Head of Rhenus APAC Warehousing Solutions, noted that this expansion enhances the group’s ability to deliver tailored contract logistics solutions across its 180 global locations. By investing in modern infrastructure, Rhenus aims to support the diverse needs of the chemical, consumer goods, and industrial machinery sectors.

Deepak Sharma, Managing Director of Rhenus Warehousing Solutions Philippines, emphasized the company’s commitment to state-of-the-art facilities: “This allows us to expand our footprint and product portfolio to serve our customers’ requirements with the highest level of efficiency, safety, and security.”
