PT. BERDIRI MATAHARI LOGISTIK Halal Certification Indonesian Operations

LOGISTEED, Ltd. is pleased to announce that its group company, PT. BERDIRI MATAHARI LOGISTIK (BML) has obtained Halal certification from Indonesia’s Halal certification body, the Institute for Food, Drugs, and Cosmetics of the Indonesian Ulema Council (LPPOM-MUI). This certification ensures high reliability in BML’s logistics processes for import and export operations in Indonesia.

Starting October 2024, Halal certification became mandatory for food and beverages distributed and traded domestically in Indonesia, with the scope of required items expected to expand in the future. BML’s newly acquired certification covers its sea and air import and export operations to and from Indonesia. Logistics operations will be carried out by staff trained by the designated certification body, adhering to prescribed procedures and proper management aligned with Halal standards. This ensures the delivery of safe and reliable products in terms of quality and hygiene.

The LOGISTEED Group aims to be the most preferred solution provider in the global supply chain, continuously strengthening its network of high-quality logistics to meet the increasingly sophisticated, diversified, and widespread needs of its customers.
