Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has confirmed its participation at the upcoming Automotive Logistics & Supply Chain (ALSC) Global 2025, to be held at Saint John’s Resort, Michigan, from 23–25 September. As both an exhibitor and event sponsor, MSC aims to highlight its growing role in supporting automotive manufacturers with agile, sustainable, and integrated logistics solutions.

With over 700 global industry leaders expected to attend, the event will address high-impact topics such as digitalisation, resilience, and logistics optimisation across the North American automotive ecosystem. MSC’s presence reinforces its commitment to evolving alongside OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers amid shifting supply chain dynamics.

Expert Insight: Stability in an Era of Disruption

MSC’s Executive Vice President of Export, MSC USA, Mr. Giancarlo Morgera, will speak during the opening session on 24 September at 9:25 AM, titled “The New Supply Chain Paradigm: Creating Stability in an Era of Uncertainty.”

He will share insights into how containerised logistics—paired with strategic foresight—can support the automotive sector’s quest for resilience without compromising competitiveness. Attendees can expect a practical look at how MSC helps OEMs manage volatility through efficiency, consistency, and sustainability.

Delivering Value Across the Automotive Chain

From finished vehicles and oversized components to EV batteries and engines, MSC provides end-to-end logistics solutions tailored to the needs of global carmakers and Tier 1 partners. Operating from its dedicated automotive logistics hub in Chicago, MSC offers:

  • Real-time cargo visibility
  • Customised warehousing solutions
  • Multimodal routing and optimisation
  • Dedicated support for cross-border trade and inland distribution

Visitors are invited to connect with MSC at Booth 23 throughout the event.

Recognised by Industry Leaders

In 2024, MSC was recognised by two major global OEMs for excellence in logistics service delivery:

  • Caterpillar awarded MSC for its high performance in the transportation of machinery and components.
  • Stellantis honoured MSC at its Supplier of the Year event for operational efficiency and reliability.

Looking Ahead: ALSC Mexico 2025

Following its presence in Michigan, MSC will also participate in ALSC Mexico, scheduled for 11–13 November at the Marquis Reforma Hotel in Mexico City. The company’s expanding role in the Americas reflects its strategic investment in automotive logistics across cross-border corridors, port hubs, and inland distribution routes.
