
New Standalone Route Connects China with Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia; Upgrades Boost Intra-Asia Reliability
MSC has announced the launch of the new standalone Sambar Service and confirmed the implementation of enhancements to its Pertiwi and Orchid services, significantly strengthening its network across the intra-Asia trade lanes.
The Sambar Service is a new, direct route connecting China with Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia, designed to provide additional direct corridors and fast transit times across the region.

The full rotation for the Sambar Service is: Dalian – Incheon – Tianjin Xingang – Qingdao – Da Chan Bay – Dong Nai – Laem Chabang – Singapore – Penang – Pasir Gudang – Singapore – Tanjung Pelepas – Busan – Dalian.
Service Enhancements Implemented
MSC has also completed or is concluding the planned upgrades to two other key services, which aimed to increase service reliability and further strengthen the company’s market position.

Pertiwi Service: Enhancements to this service, which commenced in October 2025, establish faster connections from North and South China to Indonesia. The full rotation is: Busan – Dalian – Tianjin Xingang – Qingdao – Shekou – Singapore – Jakarta – Panjang – Jakarta – Singapore – Hong Kong – Nansha – Busan.

Orchid Service: Upgrades to this service, which commenced in November 2025, connect South China and Vietnam. The full rotation is: Fuzhou – Shantou – Hong Kong – Shekou – Yantian – Haiphong – Singapore – Qinzhou – Hong Kong – Fuzhou.
