In response to the growing market demand, MSC is excited to introduce its latest offering, the Osprey service. This new weekly service will provide a direct route and enhance transit times between Asia and Southeast India, creating new prospects for importers and exporters in the region.

The launch of the Osprey service will significantly improve connectivity between the Asian and Southeast Indian markets, offering expanded opportunities for businesses in these important trade hubs. Notably, this service will complement MSC’s existing Shikra service, allowing the company to deliver more comprehensive coverage to its customers of the entire Asia-India network.

The inaugural sailing of the Osprey service is scheduled to depart from Shanghai on 23 July aboard the MSC SOMYA vessel, operating under the voyage number SO430A. The service’s rotation will include key stops at Shanghai, Ningbo, Singapore, Colombo, Ennore, and Visakhapatnam. This initiative aims to further strengthen MSC’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of global trade and providing efficient, reliable shipping solutions.
