GEODIS recently welcomed representatives from the Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce (SweCham), the Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce (FTCC), and the Netherlands-Thai Chamber of Commerce (NTCC) for an exclusive port visit and logistics infrastructure briefing at Laem Chabang.
Held on 17 September, the visit was designed to offer delegates first-hand insight into the backbone of Thailand’s international trade network. The event began at the GEODIS Head Office in Bangkok, before departing for Laem Chabang. Upon arrival at the GEODIS Free Zone Warehouse, the attendees were greeted with opening remarks by Ms. Anna Olsson Moore, Executive Director of SweCham, and Mr. Yigit Saricinar, Managing Director of GEODIS Thailand.
Participants were then given a detailed presentation covering GEODIS’s customs clearance process, its road network, and contract logistics services—highlighting the company’s operational efficiency and client-focused approach across Thailand. The session concluded with an open Q&A.
The delegation also toured the Siam Commercial Seaport at Laem Chabang Port, gaining a closer look at port operations and the surrounding logistics ecosystem. The visit underscored GEODIS’s capabilities in delivering integrated supply chain solutions while reinforcing the company’s role in supporting international trade through scalable infrastructure and value-added services.
