Emirates Shipping Line UWL Sun Chief Express Service

Emirates Shipping Line (ESL) has entered into a strategic partnership with UWL to further enhance the Sun Chief Express (SCX), a well-established Transpacific service connecting Southeast Asia to the Pacific Northwest of the United States.

The SCX service has earned a strong reputation for reliability and efficiency and continues to meet increasing demand for premium shipping solutions across the region. The new collaboration between ESL and UWL will focus on developing the scale and frequency of the service, ensuring greater consistency and improved service levels for customers across global markets.

Under the partnership, ESL will contribute its growing access to vessels, an extensive network across Asia and the Middle East, and well-integrated feeder connections supported by a large container fleet. UWL, a leading provider of logistics services in the United States, brings to the partnership its deep experience in supply chain solutions, along with a reputation for reliability, innovation, and customer-focused operations.

The alliance is underpinned by a shared commitment to service excellence, operational efficiency, and building long-term customer relationships. Together, ESL and UWL aim to offer an integrated and seamless logistics solution, delivering enhanced value to shippers moving cargo between Asia and North America.

This new partnership marks the beginning of a joint initiative to raise the standard for service quality and connectivity in Transpacific trade.
