DSV has officially opened RedLion2, a new logistics facility located in Tampines LogisPark. The facility, which opened on July 9, is Singapore’s largest and first positive energy logistics hub, designed to set a new standard for sustainability and automation in the sector.

RedLion2 is connected to the existing SLC3 facility via a skybridge, creating a 1.2 million-square-foot mega-campus. This makes it the largest logistics campus in Singapore and significantly expands DSV’s local footprint to 6.3 million square feet across 28 sites.

A Smart and Sustainable Hub

The new facility produces 15% more energy than it consumes and was awarded the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Platinum Positive Energy Building (PEB) certificate. Its sustainable features include solar power generation, smart building management systems, and the use of circularity-sourced materials.

Purpose-built for the semiconductor industry, the facility integrates intelligent automation technologies such as AutoStore, shuttle sorters, and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR). It also features a dedicated Innovation Sandbox to foster collaboration with local businesses and academic institutions.

According to Catherine Soo, CEO of DSV Solutions Asia Pacific, RedLion2 is a launchpad for future-ready solutions that will help redefine what is possible in logistics.

Reinforcing Singapore’s Strategic Role

The project was supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and reinforces DSV’s commitment to building a smarter, more agile logistics ecosystem in the region.

Albert-Derk Bruin, Global CEO of DSV Solutions, highlighted that the new mega-campus strengthens the company’s presence in Singapore and underscores the nation’s strategic role in DSV’s global network. Chan Ih-Ming, Executive Vice President at the EDB, stated that RedLion2 will play a vital role in supporting high-value manufacturing in Singapore and creating highly skilled jobs.

JTC’s Assistant Chief Executive Officer, Christine Wong, added that the pioneering facility sets a clear path for next-generation logistics with its advanced intelligent automation solutions and sustainable construction.
