OOCL has launched a new China-Indonesia Service (CIS1), aimed at enhancing connectivity and schedule reliability between the two markets.

The service commenced on 20 April 2026 and is designed to support growing cargo volumes between China and Indonesia, while offering customers greater flexibility and improved transit times.

Enhancing Intra-Asia Network Coverage

CIS1 features a direct and streamlined port rotation linking key ports in China and Indonesia, supporting more efficient cargo movement across the trade lane.

Port rotation: Shanghai – Ningbo – Jakarta – Shanghai

The new service forms part of OOCL’s broader network development strategy to strengthen its intra-Asia offering and improve service reliability for regional customers.
