Hong Kong-based shipping company OOCL has launched a new service to enhance its network coverage in emerging markets. The service, named Transpacific Latin Pacific 5 (TLP5), will be added to the Asia-Latin America network to provide comprehensive port coverage in the regions.

OOCL’s TLP5 will offer direct connections between China, Korea, and Mexico, with a competitive transit time of 15 and 20 days from Qingdao to Ensenada and Manzanillo, respectively. It will complement the company’s existing loops TLP1/2/3 and is expected to further strengthen OOCL’s position in the competitive shipping market.

“We are very pleased to launch this new service, which will provide our customers with more options to meet their shipping needs in the Asia-Latin America market,” said an OOCL spokesperson. This expansion of our network coverage reflects our commitment to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our customers around the world.”

Port rotation for TLP5:

Pusan – Dalian – Ningbo – Shanghai – Qingdao – Ensenada – Manzanillo – Ensenada – Yokohama – Pusan
