MSC recently concluded its participation at Breakbulk Americas 2025, the region’s leading industry event for project cargo and breakbulk, which took place from September 30 to October 2, 2025, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.
Highlighting Project Cargo Capabilities
MSC, drawing on over four decades of experience and supported by a global network, showcased its Breakbulk and Project Cargo services, which are designed for complex, high-value cargo that exceeds conventional dimensions. MSC USA emphasized its ability to deliver precision, flexibility, and cost-efficient solutions across a wide range of industries.
During the conference, Ben Collins, Global Project Cargo Manager at MSC, addressed the crucial topic “Weathering the Storm: What’s Next for Breakbulk Carriers?” His session, held on October 1, focused on MSC’s commitment to delivering strategic and stable partnerships to customers. Mr. Collins shared the company’s perspective on navigating today’s complex environment with agility while ensuring its fleet remains resilient and positioned for long-term growth.
Standout Shipments and Sustainability
At their booth, MSC USA provided attendees with a fresh perspective on project cargo, following a theme inspired by the Breakbulk Europe event. The company highlighted standout shipments, including the 390-tonne hydraulic hammer, which was cited as the heaviest cargo ever handled by MSC.
Visitors were also invited to explore an interactive sustainability experience, offering insights into MSC’s commitment to responsible shipping practices as a world-leading container shipping company.
A dedicated team of Project Cargo specialists based in Houston, a key national project cargo hub, were joined by MSC experts from around the world to connect with industry professionals, share solution-focused insights, and discuss how MSC is prepared to handle complex cargo with tailor-made solutions from planning to execution.
