To commemorate this milestone, Logistics Manager (LM) spoke with Mr. Kettivit Sittisoontornwong, Chief Executive Officer of LEO Global Logistics, about the company’s growth journey and its strategic direction towards becoming one of Thailand’s leading logistics organizations.

LEO began operations in 1990 as a sea freight forwarder, offering inbound and outbound services and direct weekly groupage and consolidation (LCL) services to major ports globally. From its early workforce of five people, the company expanded to 40 staff by the end of its first year and continued growing by diversifying into air freight, customs brokerage, and warehousing.

Today, LEO has over 500 employees and a global agency network covering more than 190 countries, enabling comprehensive end-to-end logistics solutions. The company has also expanded domestically with offices in Laem Chabang and Suvarnabhumi Airport and has developed affiliated businesses such as YCJ Depot for container yard services and Aramex (Thailand) for courier and express services.

Listed on the Market for Alternative Investment (mai), LEO has used its strengthened financial position to pursue new business initiatives such as LEO COLDBOTIC and LEO Self-Storage and Wine Storage, currently operating across Rama III, Chinatown, and Rama IV.

The company has also expanded into rail transport, particularly cross-border services on the Thailand–China route, supported by the operations of LaneXang Express and Sri Trang Leo Multimodal Logistics. In addition, the establishment of LEO Sourcing & Supply Chain provides sourcing, quality control, and export coordination services, while Logicam LEO (Cambodia), a joint venture in Cambodia, enhances cross-border logistics and regional distribution capacity.

LEO’s achievements have been recognized through awards such as the Excellent Logistics Management Award (ELMA) in 2016 and 2019 from the Department of International Trade Promotion and the Prime Minister’s Export Award. Mr. Kettivit also received the Best CEO Award from the mai, reflecting his leadership in guiding the company’s sustainable growth.

Beyond business strategy, human capital is a core driver of the organization. LEO’s people development is structured around three guiding values:

L Lead with ethics and integrity

E Excellence in collaboration with an outward mindset

O Open to continuous learning and agile transformation

“LEO believes that human resources are the core of the organization,” said Mr. Kettivit. “We have systematically developed our people by building a strong foundation of learning and recognition, presenting the L, E, O Awards and Outstanding Employee of the Year, as well as service pins for 10, 20, and 30 years of service.”

He added that biannual Town Hall Meetings help ensure alignment, transparency, and team participation in organizational goals and KPIs.

LEO also partners with Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University to support students from remote areas and those with financial limitations in the Bachelor of Business Administration in Maritime Business program. Through scholarships and internship placements, the company has welcomed two cohorts, totaling 15 students, who are now contributing as full-time employees.

“With the belief that capable young people will help build a strong logistics industry, we place great importance on developing new-generation talent while giving back to society,” Mr. Kettivit said.

For 2026, LEO will adopt the 3×6 Growth Matrix as its strategic framework:

The six management guidelines under this framework focus on establishing leadership in Green and Sustainable Logistics. These include developing a green logistics ecosystem, investing in innovation such as AI and Big Data, applying ESG principles, and continuing to enhance digital services.

“LEO’s long-term goals are guided by the Built to Last concept,” Mr. Kettivit said. “We aim for annual growth of more than 20 percent in our core business and expect new revenue streams from rail cross-border services, self-storage, wine distribution, and other non-freight logistics segments.”

LEO also plans to introduce electric vehicle (EV) trucks alongside expanded rail transport to reduce carbon emissions and improve operational efficiency. The EV fleet is expected to be deployed in late 2025 or early 2026 and is anticipated to be an important new S-Curve business supporting customer sustainability objectives.

Mr. Kettivit Sittisoontornwong, Chief Executive Officer of LEO Global Logistics

While people are at the heart of LEO, customers, partners, shareholders, and investors continue to be the driving force behind its growth.

“For 36 years, LEO Global Logistics has grown from a small start to become one of Thailand’s leading integrated logistics providers,” Mr. Kettivit reflected. “We are grateful for the trust and support from all stakeholders. We will continue delivering value and success to every destination.”
