Intra-Asia shipping specialist Interasia Lines has officially unveiled a refreshed vessel livery design across its container fleet. Operating under the design principle of “boldness through simplicity,” the revised visual identity streamlines decorative hull elements while maximizing corporate brand recognition across international maritime trade lanes.
The design update marks the next stage of Interasia’s broader brand evolution, aimed at establishing a highly standardized and unified corporate image across its active fleet, regional offices, and digital customer touchpoints.

Structural Modifications to Hull and Accommodation Superstructures
The updated livery utilizes a cleaner, high-contrast layout engineered to optimize visual impact when vessels are at sea or berthed within high-density container terminals. Key updates to the vessel exterior include:
- Enlarged Corporate Symbolism: The signature Interasia emblem has been scaled up and positioned across the main accommodation superstructure block to maximize visibility from long distances.
- Prominent Wordmark Placement: The primary Interasia wordmark has been repositioned and enlarged along the midsection of the hull side, establishing a stronger silhouette.
- Connected Bow Motif: A repeating symbol pattern has been applied to the bow section to form a connected chain motif, symbolizing the carrier’s core operational role in linking international ports, regional shippers, and global consumer markets.
Integrating Visual Identity with Industrial Maritime Standards
Beyond updating the carrier’s corporate aesthetics, the livery overhaul incorporates practical maritime engineering and maintenance considerations.
The specific paint formulations, chemical coatings, and graphic placements were selected to ensure high operational visibility, satisfy international maritime safety standards, and provide long-term durability against harsh saltwater exposure and UV degradation. This industrial focus minimizes paint maintenance cycles and ensures structural consistency during scheduled dry-dock periods.
Supporting a Forward-Looking Operational Strategy
Brendan, Special Assistant to the Executive Vice President of Interasia, stated that the company’s vessels function as moving expressions of its core brand identity rather than just operating assets. He noted that the refreshed livery reflects a clear, confident, and forward-looking organization. By simplifying the overall layout and strengthening the placement of the company’s symbol and wordmark, Interasia aims to enhance its brand consistency and visibility across all international ports of call.
The rollout of the updated livery will be executed systematically, with individual vessels receiving the new branding during regularly scheduled maintenance windows and standard dry-dock intervals to maintain seamless weekly service frequencies across the carrier’s intra-Asia network.
