Interasia Lines has announced the upcoming launch of its Cambodia–South China Express (CSX), a strategic service expansion designed to bridge the Greater Bay Area with the burgeoning industrial markets of Cambodia and Thailand. Scheduled to debut in mid-March, this new route marks a significant milestone as it officially integrates Cambodia into the Interasia Lines global network.
The CSX service is engineered as a 14-day round-trip rotation, providing a dedicated link for regional trade flows through the following port calls:
Yantian – Shekou – Laem Chabang – Sihanoukville – Yantian

Strategic Expansion into the Cambodian Market
The addition of Sihanoukville to the carrier’s portfolio represents a deliberate move to capture rising export and import volumes in the Mekong region. By establishing this direct corridor, Interasia Lines now offers more comprehensive coverage for Thailand while providing a critical new gateway for businesses operating in Cambodia.
Commitment to Regional Supply Chain Agility
The launch of the CSX service underscores the company’s focus on providing flexible and dependable scheduling for shippers and consignees. Key benefits of the new loop include:
- Direct South China Link: Faster transit from the major export hubs of Yantian and Shekou to Sihanoukville.
- Enhanced Thai Connectivity: Reliable weekly access to Laem Chabang integrated within the broader regional loop.
- Diverse Scheduling Options: Increased frequency to meet the time-sensitive needs of the intra-Asia trade.
This latest network enhancement reinforces Interasia Lines’ role as a vital facilitator of trade between China and Southeast Asia, ensuring customers have the logistical tools needed to navigate the region’s evolving supply chain landscape.
