Hutchison Ports Thailand Surpasses 40 Million TEUs of Container Throughput

Hutchison Ports Thailand (HPT), the leading port and terminal operator of terminals A2, A3, C1&C2, and D at Laem Chabang Port, has surpassed 40 million TEUs of container throughput, setting a new record for the country. Mr Stephen Ashworth, Managing Director of Thailand and Southeast Asia, Hutchison Ports, celebrated this success with the executives and employees.

On this occasion, Mr Ashworth gave an encouraging speech and showed his gratitude to the employees for their commitment and hard work toward the success. Aiming for the new milestone of 50 million TEUs, HPT has also set a goal to drive sustainable growth and implement cutting-edge, environmentally friendly technology.

History of Hutchison Ports Thailand

  • 2002 – Operated Terminal A2 on February 6, 2002
  • 2006 – Operated Terminal A3
  • 2007 – Operated Terminal C1&C2 2016 – Started the Construction of Terminal D
  • 2019 – Operated Terminal D 2022 – 20th Anniversary of Operating Containers Terminal in Thailand
  • 2023 – Surpassed 40 million TEUs of Containers Throughput
