On January 4, 2022, COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers M.V. TIAN WANG ZHI XING, loaded with 118 LiuGong construction vehicles, successfully arrived at Jakarta Port, Indonesia, which marked the successful completion of the first task of COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers in its special express service for construction vehicle shipping.

For more than 60 years since its establishment in 1958, LiuGong has been the leader of China’s construction machinery industry. However, affected by the pandemic, the export of LiuGong construction vehicles was seriously hampered in 2021. To help the national brand address the challenge, COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers made a customized service plan for LiuGong to sail directly from Maoming Port of Guangdong to Jakarta Port through its “Direct Account Special Express Service” (7-day voyage), which effectively guaranteed the smooth flow of goods on its supply chain.

On December 23, 2021, M.V. TIAN WANG ZHI XING berthed at Maoming Port in Guangdong. The onshore staff of COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers strictly implemented the pandemic prevention measures on the one hand and, with their professional skills and services, completed the loading of 118 construction vehicles through several days of intense operation on the other. As a result, the vessel set sail as planned on December 29, 2021, and arrived at Jakarta Port on January 4, 2022.
