CSP ADT Honored at Maritime Standard Awards 2025 for Intelligent Operations and Regional Growth
COSCO SHIPPING Ports Abu Dhabi Terminal (CSP ADT) has been awarded the title of Terminal Operator of the Year for the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent at the 2025 Maritime Standard Awards. The ceremony, held in Dubai on 29 October 2025, recognized the terminal for its excellence in intelligent automation, strategic industry collaborations, and its growing commercial influence within the regional maritime sector.
The award highlights the terminal’s successful implementation of large-scale smart logistics solutions and its ability to realize significant commercial value in the Middle East.
Advancing Intelligent Port Operations
CSP ADT has made substantial progress in its intelligent infrastructure upgrades. The terminal recently completed the enhancement of 12 intelligent trucks and is currently conducting trial operations for six next-generation Intelligent Guided Vehicles (IGVs) designed for heavy-load horizontal transport.
Since the introduction of the first fleet of intelligent trucks in the Middle East in 2021, the technology has become a cornerstone of the terminal’s efficiency. From January to September 2025, these autonomous vehicles handled an operational volume of 156,333 TEU, demonstrating the reliability and scalability of AI-driven port logistics.
Strategic Growth and Alliance Integration
In addition to technological advancements, the terminal has seen significant growth in its Maintenance and Repair (MNR) business. These services are now closely aligned with the requirements of the world’s three major global shipping alliances, leading to a marked increase in business volume and improved client retention.
By combining advanced customer service capabilities with a robust technical infrastructure, CSP ADT has solidified its position as a vital hub in the global supply chain. The recognition at the Maritime Standard Awards—one of the most authoritative industry honors in the region—further underscores the terminal’s role in shaping a more efficient and connected maritime ecosystem in Abu Dhabi.
