CEVA Logistics Nationwide Cooler Equipment Lifecycle Contract PepsiCo Türkiye

CEVA Logistics has entered into a nationwide contract agreement with PepsiCo Türkiye to manage the end-to-end operational lifecycle and field maintenance of PepsiCo’s commercial cooler fleet across thousands of retail points of sale nationwide.

Under the agreement, CEVA targets the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of approximately 20,000 cooler units annually across Türkiye.

Integrated Operational Scope and Field Management

The contract combines traditional logistics, specialized field technical support, and reverse logistics under a single operational architecture:

  • Field Maintenance and Rapid Response: Dedicated technical teams provide on-site technical services, periodic maintenance, and malfunction repairs to ensure continuous cooler operation at retail locations.
  • Lifecycle and Refurbishment Operations: Units requiring major mechanical or technical overhauls are transported to CEVA’s dedicated refurbishment centers, where components are restored to near-original operational performance.
  • Circular Economy and Sustainability: The overhaul and redeployment process extends equipment operational lifespans by up to 10 years, reducing carbon emissions associated with new manufacturing and improving resource efficiency across PepsiCo’s supply chain.

Executive Perspectives

Serkan Etleç, Vice President of Contract Logistics Ground Operations for CEVA Logistics in Türkiye, stated that the partnership demonstrates CEVA’s technical service integration beyond core logistics. Etleç emphasized that combining reverse logistics, field service management, and asset refurbishment creates a sustainable, high-performance model for commercial equipment management.
