CULines has launched the new Korea-China-India (KCI) Service, expanding its liner network with a direct weekly connection between Northeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent.
The new service also provides customers with onward connections to the Middle East, the Red Sea and the eastern Mediterranean through CULines’ wider shipping network.
Expanding Regional Connectivity
The KCI Service is designed to strengthen trade links between Northeast Asia, China, India and Pakistan while offering customers a stable and reliable transport solution.
The port rotation is:
Busan – Gwangyang – Shanghai – Ningbo – Shekou – Port Klang (West Port) – Nhava Sheva – Mundra – Karachi – Port Klang (West Port) – Busan
The maiden voyage departed from Busan on 16 July.
Supporting Trade Growth
As one of the joint venture partners operating the service, CULines has deployed the 6,700 TEU MV Racine on the KCI loop.
According to the company, the new service strengthens its Northeast Asia network while providing more efficient access to markets across the Indian subcontinent and onward connectivity to destinations in the Middle East, Red Sea and eastern Mediterranean.
