DHL has announced a major expansion of its data centre logistics infrastructure in North America, adding 10 dedicated warehouse sites with more than seven million sq ft of capacity scheduled to become operational in 2026.
The new facilities are designed to support hyperscale and colocation data centre operators as they accelerate deployment of new capacity across the region.
Supporting Data Centre Deployment
The sites will provide specialised services including white-glove handling, rack configuration and dedicated warehouse-to-site transport for high-value IT hardware, power modules and networking equipment.
Rack configuration services will allow integration and testing work to be moved from live construction environments into controlled warehouse settings, reducing on-site complexity and supporting faster installation.

Expanding End-to-End Logistics Capabilities
DHL said the expansion is intended to meet rising demand for integrated logistics support in the data centre sector, where projects often involve compressed construction timelines, sensitive equipment and global supply chains.
The North America facilities will be supported by DHL Global Forwarding’s multimodal transport network, customs expertise and heavy-lift capabilities, enabling the movement of high-value and out-of-gauge components from international manufacturing hubs to project sites.
DHL noted that demand for specialised data centre logistics is also increasing in other regions, including Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
The expansion reflects DHL’s broader focus on supporting data centre growth with secure, time-critical and coordinated logistics services across international and domestic supply chains.
