NX Taiwan Medical Device QMS Certification

Nippon Express (Taiwan) Co., Ltd. (NX Taiwan) has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Japanese company to receive Quality Management System (QMS) certification for medical devices from the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA). This certification, obtained for the company’s NEXT3 warehouse in Taoyuan City, underscores NX Taiwan’s commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of medical devices.

Taiwan has been strengthening its quality control measures for medical devices, including requiring certification for packaging and labeling. NX Taiwan’s NEXT3 warehouse, which already holds GDP and GMP certifications for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, is now equipped to store and process medical devices in compliance with these stringent standards.

“This certification reinforces our commitment to providing our customers with the highest quality logistics services for medical devices,” said a spokesperson for NX Taiwan. “The NEXT3 warehouse is strategically positioned to support the growing demand for medical device logistics in Taiwan.”

Strategically Located and Equipped

The NEXT3 warehouse is strategically located near major transportation hubs, including Taoyuan International Airport, Taipei Port, and Keelung Port, offering convenient access for both international and domestic logistics. The facility is equipped with air-conditioned storage and processing work areas, ensuring the integrity and safety of medical devices.

Expanding Logistics Services

NX Taiwan is dedicated to expanding its logistics capabilities within Taiwan and its international transport services, leveraging the NX Group’s global network. This commitment supports the company’s vision of becoming a leading logistics provider in the global market.

“We will continue to enhance our logistics functions and services to meet the evolving needs of our customers,” said the spokesperson. “This certification is a testament to our dedication to providing high-quality and compliant solutions for the healthcare industry.”
