CULines, a leading shipping company, recently held a regional conference in Dubai, bringing together key industry stakeholders and partners to discuss new market conditions and collaboration opportunities.

The conference, attended by agents from the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Sudan, Jordan, Yemen, Djibouti, Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey, along with management from CULines and owner representatives from the regions and ports of India, the Middle East, Red Sea, and Eastern Mediterranean, highlighted the company’s commitment to regional development and expansion.

During the meeting, CULines engaged in in-depth discussions with its core team and agents, focusing on network planning and regional development to enhance business collaboration. The highlight of the event was the signing of a regional strategic cooperation framework agreement between CULines and Sharaf Group, aimed at strengthening the partnership between the two entities. As per the agreement, Sharaf Group will extend full support to CULines in its regional development and expansion by providing essential resources, a customer base, and a logistics network.

CULines also announced significant service upgrades during the conference. The company revealed plans to upgrade its China-Red Sea-East Med service named AEM/REX2 to a weekly service and deploy the new India West Coast-Middle East-Red Sea regional service named IMR. These upgrades are set to be implemented in collaboration with partners such as Global Feeder Express (GFS), C-Star, and United Global Shipping Limited (UGL) for AEM/REX2 and with C-Star and UGL for the IMR service. Additionally, CULines announced the establishment of a West Asia office to enhance its regional service capabilities, aiming to relocate shipowner operational management functions closer to the region to improve response times and service efficiency.

In the face of an uncertain market environment, CULines reaffirmed its commitment to its dual circulation and internationalization strategy, emphasizing the acceleration of its Belt and Road Initiative layout and the promotion of regional cooperation. The company’s goal is to create a more extensive, stable, and flexible transportation network to better meet customer needs and respond to market changes.
