Jungheinrich, a global leader in advanced materials handling technology, has launched its state-of-the-art NXT Warehouse at its Samut Prakan Facility in Thailand. The unveiling took place during the Jungheinrich NXT Warehouse event, which witnessed the participation of prominent figures from the industry.

The grand opening of the NXT Warehouse featured a series of key activities, including insightful keynotes from Jungheinrich’s top executives and a technological showcase highlighting innovative products such as Jungheinrich’s Automated Guided Vehicle, EKS 215a. The event also included a traditional Thai dance performance, a networking session, and a tour of the newly renovated office and the NXT Warehouse.

The NXT Warehouse aims to provide visitors with a comprehensive look into Jungheinrich’s latest innovations and technology offerings, covering areas such as electric trucks, racking, and software systems, offering an end-to-end solution for various needs.

One of the notable advancements showcased at the event was Jungheinrich’s Lithium-ion technology adoption, which has already contributed to reducing CO2 emissions by up to 20% globally. The company’s commitment to sustainability has also been recognized through its certification as a top 1% sustainable company for three consecutive years by Ecovadis.

Furthermore, Jungheinrich’s dedicated refurbishment hub in Samut Prakan, Thailand, has successfully refurbished over 1,000 forklift trucks in the APAC region since its launch, resulting in a significant reduction in CO2 emissions compared to purchasing new equipment.

During the event, Mr. Stefan Brehm, Vice President of Asia-Pacific at Jungheinrich, emphasized the company’s dedication to transforming the material handling industry with cutting-edge technology and sustainability at the core of their innovations. Mr. Bart Sprangers, General Manager of Jungheinrich Thailand, also echoed this sentiment, highlighting the company’s mission to build the warehouses of the future in Thailand.

The launch of the NXT Warehouse is a testament to Jungheinrich’s commitment to driving efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in the warehousing landscape while also providing an interactive space for customers to experience their cutting-edge solutions firsthand, ultimately helping them achieve greater efficiency and sustainability in their operations.
