On August 15, two trucks transporting a total of 40 tons of NEV lithium batteries from Poland successfully arrived in Chengdu, Sichuan. This achievement marked the launch of a door-to-door, one-stop cold chain transport solution for NEV battery products operated entirely by trucks. In addition to ocean and air freight, land transportation has now become an alternative for cross-border NEV battery imports from Europe to China. Notably, this batch of temperature-sensitive goods had also passed through many European countries after being picked up in Poland on July 21 and finishing import declarations at the Alashankou Port in Xinjiang on August 5. This has been the first China-Europe highway transportation of lithium battery imports through the Alashankou Port and the entire highway line in Xinjiang since the normalization of pandemic prevention and control restrictions.
