Recently, M.V. DA TAI, a large vessel under COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers, loaded with more than 300 SANY excavators, dumpers, cranes and other construction machinery, set sail from Shanghai Nangang Terminal to Jakarta, Indonesia.
Following the successful transportation of the first batch of more than 300 vehicles by M.V XING FU SONG to Jakarta in early February, M.V. DA TAI completed its mission to Jakarta on the evening of March 17, marking a successful conclusion for the second voyage taken by this special express line.
The voyage of M.V. DA TAI took only seven days, as the ship was loaded with 25,000-odd engineering machinery and a small amount of equipment. At the ports of shipment and destination, port captains were required to supervise the cargo handling to ensure shipment quality and guarantee safe delivery.
