Frasers Property Industrial (Thailand) Company Limited (“FPIT”), Thailand’s leading industrial property developer and wholly-owned subsidiary of Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited (“FPT”), recently completed the main piling ceremony to commence construction of a new built-to-suit (BTS) distribution centre for DKSH (Thailand) Limited, the leading Market Expansion Services provider in Thailand.

The new BTS distribution centre, expected for completion within the third quarter of 2022, will serve DKSH’s Business Unit Performance Materials. It is located in Frasers Property Logistics Center Bangplee 2, Bangna-Trad Km. 19, Samutprakarn, built on approximately 13 rai of land. It will offer a total gross floor area of 11,000 sqm of ambient and temperature-controlled warehouses to store food ingredients, cosmetic ingredients, pharmaceutical ingredients, and speciality chemicals. This facility will support DKSH’s capabilities to manage its entire supply chain, warehousing solutions and value-added services. In addition, with the facility’s strategic location in the prime logistics and distribution area at Bangplee, DKSH will be able to deliver products in a faster and more cost-effective manner to customers via its convenient access to Bangna-Trad Road, Suvarnabhumi Airport, and Laem Chabang Port.

Mr. Sopon Racharaksa, CEO of Frasers Property Industrial (Thailand) Company Limited, said: “We are glad to deepen our collaboration with DKSH further to start a new development to cater to their business expansion following their first Built-to-Suit warehouse at Wangnoi 10 years ago. We are confident that this new distribution centre will support DKSH to manage its supply chain effectively and prompt their company to grow along with the increasing demands for a logistics provider.”

“With our emphasis on customer-centricity, we continue to support our customers to create better warehouses that are designed for better productivity, cost efficiency and manhour savings. Moreover, this building is designed to meet green building guidelines and adheres to LEED Certified criteria as part of our commitment towards our key sustainability goals.” Mr. Sopon added.

FPIT is integrating sustainability into various aspects of the industrial building – ranging from design, procurement, construction to operations comprising air quality control, water and energy efficiency design, use of low volatile organic compounds materials, smart lighting system, and solar panel installation.
