Rhenus Thailand Completes Cross-border Project Move to Laos

Rhenus Thailand has once again showcased their prowess in domestic and cross border trucking with their recent successfully executed project from Thailand to Laos. The commodity being moved this time was a massive 50 CBM water treatment system that was to be delivered to the province of Udomxai.

Rhenus Thailand says that one key challenge for this move was the local regulations for transporting oversized cargo to the destination (cargo dimensions 3.5 x 3.5 x 6.5 m and 4.5 x 4.5 x 6.5 m). Cargo of this size requires a special permit from the Central Vientiane Authority.

This necessitated proper pre-planning and coordination with multiple parties in Vientiane, to prevent the cargo being stuck at the border of Udomxai. However, the professionalism of the Thailand team ensured that the project was executed without any hiccups, much to the satisfaction of the customer.
