ZIM Naming Ceremony

ZIM recently celebrated the naming ceremony of its newest 15,000 TEU LNG-powered vessels: ZIM Fuji, ZIM Kilimanjaro, and ZIM Olympus.

Inspired by three of the world’s majestic mountain peaks, these vessels will pioneer ZIM’s Asia to US East Coast route. ZIM is pleased to be the first liner introducing LNG-powered vessels on this trade route, paving the way for its customers to opt for greener shipping and reduce their carbonfootprint.

While ZIM’s current LNG fleet symbolizes its commitment to harnessing the most environmentally friendly technology available today, this news is also a pivotal moment on its path to net-zero emissions.
