Yang Ming JKX Service Haiphong Extension

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation (Yang Ming) will optimize its intra-Asia service network by extending its Japan (Kansai) – Taiwan – South China route, known as the Japan Kansai Express (JKX), to include Haiphong, Vietnam. This enhancement, effective in early March 2025, aims to meet Vietnam’s growing market demand.

The extension is designed to strengthen Yang Ming’s competitive position in Southeast Asia, capitalize on opportunities in the region’s emerging economies, and drive business growth in the intra-Asia market. Customers can expect broader, more reliable, and more efficient transport services.

The enhanced JKX service will offer a 21-day round voyage with a fixed weekly sailing schedule. The port rotation for the JKX service is as follows: Osaka – Kobe – Keelung – Kaohsiung – Nansha – Shekou – Haiphong – Hong Kong – Shekou – Osaka.
