Yang Ming Intra-Asia Network China-Singapore-Malaysia Service

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation has further expanded its regional footprint with the launch of its new China-Singapore-Malaysia (CSM) service. Commencing on April 3, 2026, the new loop is designed to increase connectivity between South China hubs and key Southeast Asian markets, offering more streamlined logistics options for regional shippers.

The CSM service is part of Yang Ming’s broader strategy to deepen its network deployment and improve transit efficiency across the Intra-Asia corridor.

Dedicated Fleet and Streamlined Rotation

To ensure reliable and consistent scheduling, Yang Ming is deploying three of its 2,800 TEU-class vessels specifically for this route. The service operates on a fixed weekly schedule with a 21-day round-trip rotation.

The port rotation for the CSM service focuses on major maritime hubs:

Xiamen – Kaohsiung – Shekou – Singapore – Port Kelang – Xiamen

Strengthening Regional Trade Corridors

The introduction of the CSM service provides several strategic advantages for businesses operating within the Asian trade network:

  • Enhanced Direct Links: The service strengthens direct maritime corridors between South China, Singapore, and Malaysia, reducing the need for transshipment and lowering transit times.
  • Flexible Market Response: By connecting key hub ports, the service allows customers to respond more dynamically to the shifting market demands in Southeast Asia.
  • Comprehensive Coverage: The rotation integrates seamlessly into Yang Ming’s existing Intra-Asia network, providing broader reach for cargo moving through Singapore and Port Kelang.

Commitment to Sustainable and Quality Shipping

This latest network optimization reflects Yang Ming’s ongoing commitment to providing diverse and high-quality shipping solutions. By utilizing modern 2,800 TEU vessels, the company continues to balance capacity needs with operational reliability, ensuring a sustainable and efficient flow of goods across one of the world’s busiest shipping regions.

The CSM service underscores Yang Ming’s dedication to building a resilient maritime network that supports the evolving needs of global supply chains.
