Messe München, the organizer behind the transport logistic exhibition series, and Heavy Lift & Project Forwarding International (HLPFI) have announced a strategic partnership aimed at boosting the visibility and networking potential of the heavy lift, breakbulk, and project cargo sectors.

Central to this new collaboration is “project cargo,” a dedicated exhibition area that will debut at upcoming international transport logistic trade fairs. The new feature will be introduced at events in Singapore (October 29-31, 2025), Miami (November 11-13, 2025), Mumbai (February 25-27, 2026), Shanghai (June 24-26, 2026), Istanbul (November 2026), and Nairobi (February 2027).

This initiative acknowledges the growing importance of cross-sector collaboration. For project logisticians, exchanging ideas and innovations with experts in road, air, rail, and maritime transport is critical for uncovering new efficiencies and business opportunities. The transport logistic exhibitions, which are already a major draw for the broader logistics industry, are now positioning themselves as the premier hub for the project logistics industry to showcase solutions, connect with key players, and engage in high-level dialogue.

HLPFI will support international sales efforts and lead the curation of a targeted conference program, bringing top-tier expertise and insights to the stage. Meanwhile, transport logistic will ensure that the exhibitions deliver on their promise of global reach, operational excellence, and an outstanding visitor experience.

“This partnership represents a powerful opportunity to put project cargo center stage within the logistics industry’s most important markets,” said Andy Salter, Managing Director of DVV Media International, owners of HLPFI. “We’re excited to help shape a space that speaks directly to the needs of our community, backed by the credibility and scope of transport logistic.”

Dr. Robert Schönberger, Global Industry Lead for transport logistic exhibitions at Messe München, added: “With project cargo, we’re extending our portfolio to address a vital segment of the logistics chain. Together with HLPFI, we are creating a new meeting point that sets a global benchmark for excellence in heavy and project transport.”

The first project cargo zones will be rolled out in 2025 and 2026 across the expanding transport logistic global network, offering the sector unmatched international exposure and connectivity.
