T.S. Lines has expanded its China–West India container shipping network following the maiden call of its CWX2 service at Hazira Port on August 5–6, 2026.
The service loop was initiated by the container vessel ESL Dachan Bay, which handled 3,103 TEUs of import and export cargo during its inaugural port stay.
Network Routing and Port Operations
The addition of Hazira introduces direct port calls to Gujarat’s manufacturing hinterland, expanding T.S. Lines’ established service footprint across Northern and Western India.
- Service Coverage: Provides direct ocean transport connections linking major Chinese ports with key West Coast Indian gateways, including Nhava Sheva, Hazira, and Mundra.
- Operational Scale: Moves containerized trade along the China–India trade corridor, servicing industrial manufacturing and commercial trade lanes.
- Gateway Integration: Connects Hazira’s terminal infrastructure directly into regional trade channels, offering shippers streamlined feeder and intermodal routing options.
Commemorative Event
To mark the initial call, leadership representatives from T.S. Lines (India) Pvt. Ltd. and Hazira Terminal presented a ceremonial memento to the Master and crew of the ESL Dachan Bay, signaling the carrier’s commitment to regular service loops at the port.
